Thought I'd give the wheels a bit of a buff up.

It did take a couple of hours lying on the garage floor. Love the spoked wheels but can be a pain in the butt to keep clean. You certainly need to keep on top of them. If funds allowed I would have a set of Jonich wheels with Black rims, stainless spokes and red hubs, gorgeous :h:.

My bike shop put me onto the IK FOAM PRO 2 SPRAYER. Foam up the wheel rims on my EV and the Chief's GT1000, wait 20 minutes and hose off. Come up beautifully!

I did that when removing the wheels to install new tires. We have an assortment of tiny to large size foam cones that work well - at the end of a drill extension.

Otherwise, I dilute the Mother's "all wheel cleaner" 50-50 with water and use a spoke brush and then rinse right away. I just spray about a third of it and then sorta work it around. Cleans the wheels and tires and spokes very well.

Looks like you have had great success in shining your wheels !

You just had me hatch a diabolical plot to dip into the kids college funds. Life is the best education anyway.

That's why I went for black tyres. An old toothbrush is good for getting between the spokes.

I like that sprayer a lot but what product do you put into it to spray your spoke wheels with please?

Thank you.
