2 months ago my CARC Carked it, and the bike has been sitting on the back verandah in various states of dismantle ever since.

But today The Minister and I decided that enough is enough and we were NOT going to work this weekend.

So today, I set about reassembling the bike. Put the exhaust back on after the ceramic coating was redone because they did a shitty job last time, put the new lense and bulb (free because they have a lifetime warranty - amazing!) in the LHS Moto Light because it was smashed by a stone the last time I rode the bike, installed the front brake braided lines that were replaced by Goodridge when the first set didn't quite fit (It was on teh trip to their shop that the CARC died), and finally charged the battery and wooooohoooo the bike started 1st go!

Tomorrow morning all that is left is to tighten up the handle bars because I have had them off for the final Handle Bar Risers de Oz fitting, fit the engine chin cover put the gear on and a ride a ride oh....

I don't mind admitting that I am so excited at the prospect of a ride, I feel like a kid on Christmas eve - Gosh is that the time - gotta go and clean the helmet visor!!!!

Have fun Mike, Beautiful weather here today in Toronto, but I cannot go anywhere.... chained to the fun anchor this week (read cellphone), on call in case of sick helicopter. Also hope you and the Minister take more pictures of that beautiful island you live on.
