I saw a post in a 1400 group on facebook from someone that actually had a swing arm that rattled over bumps. I'd already removed my wheels for new tyres and so checked mine. There was definitely a slight amount of play in it which would probably not have been noticeable with the shock and wheel in place. I took the foot peg plate off to investigate and the two pinch bolts were not really tight, I could tighten them both by about 3/4 of a turn and the slotted nut that is held by the bolts that takes up the free play in the bearings I also managed to tightened slightly. The paint markings are aligned from the factory so you can see how far it moved. All play has now been removed and it rotates smoothly. Maybe something worth checking next time you have a tyre change, perhaps the bearings settle in use, this is at 70,00kms.
