Can someone please provide a little more specific info on where to find the gps connection? Is it behind the gas tank side panel (with the eagle on it)) and if so how is that panel removed. There seems to be a screw point behind the eagle that I’m afraid to pull too hard. Or is it behind the more front panel (black plastic that seems to be held on by a series of clips and screws. I don’t want to damage something so I am reaching out for some help. Thanks so much.

From memory, you need to remove the side covers in front of the tank. Do not try to remove the tank side panels, they are effectively part of the tank and can only be separated when the tank an panels combination is removed as a whole.

The GPS connector will have an orange/green wire and a black wire. I think it's behind the steering head, which involves removing lots of plastic covers to get access to it.

You do not have to remove the gas tank, but you may need to temporarily move it back slightly.

The connector is made for a Tom Tom. I had to cut mine off and install a connector that suited my GPS.

These days I use a Beeline unit, which doesn't display a map, but a direction for the next corner and a highly unreliable count down to this corner.

I found it. Thanks very much for the assistance. I guess this is my introduction to Italian bikes. Geez, you couldn’t put that a little closer to an access point??
