Morning to you all,
i have just got my C14 seat back from ELSE a company based in Wisbech, where the folk of the fens (marshland area in the UK) seem to have more fingers than the rest of the UK.

Putting this advantage to good use Alistair @ Else has been converting stock (hard mis shaped) seats for years. I told him I wanted a classic California look (with a white section) and the MG embroidered on the rear. He took my weight (as a indicator) and sent back a gel inserted and re modelled seat, more of use to the 17st Glaswegain who now uses it.
I've had Corbin(s) in the past and although on a completely bike, I was unable to move or shuffle when needed .....you get my drift.

So ....if you're this side of the water and want a very good alternative to the guy who upholsters the SOFA in your high street...try ELSE.....he knows his onions from his carrots ....as the farmers say.
Cost was 300GBP including return delivery, new cover, gel inserts and Moto Guzzi on the back.

Photos??

From what I understand, he ships worldwide but the EU (now the UK have left) charges duty on all outgoing and incoming parcels.
Might be best you text him and ask.
As for photos....no problem but how do do you upload them?
.I don’t do Facebook, Instagram or any other of the devil’s work .......although I have gone out with a witch or two!

Ignore the cat food box.....it was just the seat.

Hope this is of help.

Looks great I have the Guzzi OEM Comfort Gel version and really like it. Just watch letting a GEL seat sit in the direct sunlight, that Gel heats up and retains that heat for a LONG time. I always leave a jacket or something over the seat to shade it.

Yep, I've been caught with that, it's not very easy to stand up for long on an Eldo.

No issues with that in the Uk then.

Well...............my California 1400 conversion is now complete.
After buying a 2300 mile bike in July 2021, I have changed it into the California I have always wanted.

The seat 'nods a head' and salutes the classic 1980 Guzzi's of my youth, the Exhaust is the full GTM experience touring version.
The footboards have been changed to a better (for me) footpeg arrangemnet and the EU governing bodies have been silenced by the removal of the SAS pump and Airbox. The ride quality is resolved by the installation of the Matris system....the bike is totally different.

Thanks (BIG) to the Guzzitech forum....I would not have had as much instant access to experienced modifications and solutions to fuelling and running issues.

Thanks

Gavin
