So after just over a year and 11,000 miles on my Norge I decided to break down and install the Hyperpro rear shock that everyone raves about here. I also changed the front fork oil to 15 weight. All I can say is Todd can add me to the testimonial page. WOW !!!
what a difference. With the thicker weight oil, the front end dive has been reduced significantly and the Hyperrpro rear shock is without a doubt the best upgrade i have made to the bike. The SPORT aspect of the bike has been significantly increased while the Touring aspect of the bike has seen minimal change. I know feel I have a SPORT-Touring bike instead of a sport-Touring bike. Thanks for the prompt and professional service Todd. You can add me to the list of satisfied customers. Don White
Here's one of the roads I tested the the shock on. It's county road o in Wisconsin just off the river road in Wisconsin. I would have stopped to take more pictures, but I was just having too much fun hanging off the bike :woohoo:

Hi Sam. the windshield is from CalSci. Overall I am pretty happy with it. I wrote a full review of it on the Wildguzzi site. I wasn't that unhappy with the stock screen, but thought that a taller and wider screen would give more versatility as I only used the stock shield at the highest setting. Anything lower caused too much buffeting for me. With the CalSci shield at the lowest setting it is still slightly higher then the stock due to the placement of the screen on the bike. I have found that I like it best at the low setting most of the time unless their is severe wind or rain, then I raise the shield slightly, I neve go more then half way up, because any higher then that starts to interfere with my sight lines. The CalSci shield reduces the buffeting a bit and definately creates a little quieter pocket of air around my head. It also offers me a little more versatility then the stock shield. Here's a picture of the shield all the way down

This one shows me holding the stock shield over the CalSci shield.

Oh, and I'm 5"10 and ordered the medium shield ( the smallest one they make)
