Hoses and leaks

It's 103+ outside today in Dallas and I noticed the Griso had an oil spot which appears to be leaking for the 2nd hose from the left. When I asked the PO about all these hanging hoses he said it 'was normal' and frankly I didn't question it. I was too eager to ride it.

What do you think this fluid is and is it, in fact, normal for these hoses to hang like this?

Going by memory, drip hoses drain the battery box, the air box (normally plugged), the fuel tank opening to drain rain water from the cap. Thats all:unsure:
It looks like your charcoal cannister is removed already so one more hose should be from venting the tank (could be two if po didn't tee them together)

At the temp your riding in, I would guess at a little fuel drip being the most likely. Only way to tell for sure is to follow the tube by hand to see which one it is.
Unlikely to be anything to worry about;)

Thanks for your response. All those crazy hoses remind me of the Predator monster's hair.

A quick count reveals 6 hoses hanging down. My norge has just three, and the rear two are clipped up to the swing arm. They are the fuel tank and battery box drain. The other one I have is the air box drain which has a plug in it.
Suggest you follow yours back to see where the extra ones go. You should easily be able to tell which one id drippping anyway, and see where that starts off.

If I find stuff dripping under my vehicles I usually have a little taste of it. And no I don't own a motor home.
