Hi Gays & Gals

Looking for a front Mudguard Extender for my new Stelvio. Has anybody found one or modified one to fit?

Regards Smoothy

Hmm.. a "fender extender" would be a good thing.. help keep the front of the motor getting so dirty...

Anyone find anything that works??

Suggestions on things to try???

On the basis that a GSA 1150 has the same sized front wheel i'd take a guess one of theirs (plenty of choice) will fit.

I have been searching for a suitable fender extender for a time now but so far non quite fit. Pyramid plastics who do most of the UK fender extenders are planning to release a Griso extender in about 6 to 8 weeks time. But nothing is planned yet for the Stelvio.

This is my solution, a mud guard from the Piagio mp3

Seems to work fairly well, at lest the chips in the skid plate are minimal, and there is little that shows on the front of the engine .

I took the front fender off and headed for the local BMW dealer.

He has an bunch of Fender Extenders for BMW's and afew odd balls.

After owning a Caponord I knew that one wouldn't work, so I then tried all the BMW ones they had in stock.

I ended up with one for a F650GS 2008/09 model. It is actually a tad wider than the Stelvio fender, I took about 3/8" off of each side of the Stelvio fender, approx 3" from the bottom, then filed the edge so it was very thin. This help the Stelvio fender match the curvature of the Fender Extender. Installed the 4 screws and no more mud on the front of the engine and after 4 days of rain and living on a dirt / gravel road.....I am a happy camper. :D :D

Now I need to work on the rear end of the bike to keep the mud off the travel trunk & the wife

Followed this thread and fitted the same item this weekend, took less than an hour.

Order the part from Pyramid, on line, on Thursday evening, it arrive Saturday am, supported by 3 emails confirming, order, processing and dispatch. Pretty good service. :D

Sorry to be dim, I can't see anything listed or a BM F650 on the pyramid site.
Could you post a link?
Cheers
