Bad weather, non-stop. Crappiest year for motorcycling that I remember.
Work, lots of it in a town with the worst connectivity on earth. Then a summer job with 16h shifts and no will left but to sleep and eat.
And when I finally was about to go on riding vacation, the 25th I broke my left arm. My humerus is in three parts and I won't be ok until Xmas, if all goes well.

My poor 12S is going to rust :(

That's a bad thing. . . hope you get better soon! On the other hand you're lucky. . . the 1200S will be waiting. . .

Zapa, well, things surely can only get better from here. The Sport will be waiting... heal quickly. Doing any physical therapy? How'd you break your arm?

Welcome back.

I'm still in my first week. I can hear the bones when I move the arm too much :S I train my forearm though, but I won't be able to start recovery therapy with the full arm for 9 weeks or so.
I have a test tomorrow and we'll see how it goes; Gilchrist or surgery.

I was working with heavy crates and I failed to see an open sewer-like hole. Left leg went in, right stood outside and I hit the floor catching my arm below my body.

Wow. That image (and your recounting how it happened) almost made me hurl ... and certainly made me hurt! :eek:hmy:

But, what others have said is true. Time will fly, tho it will seem as if it standing still. You'll be back at it and grinning again.

best wishes from Atlanta,

Bill

Thanks guys :)

I just have to be patient. I'm in no pain, just surviving so much idling.
I already bought a Dremel to work on small stuff single handed, hehe.
