I'm glitzing up the orange blancmange with a few trick bits...

Can anyone tell me what types of footpegs will fit on the Griso, or are they a universal mount? Never had a snazzy bike with this type of footpeg before...

And what diameter grips should I get?

Cheers!

I learned something while i was making adjustable footpegs for these bikes specifically.

The footpegs i made also fit on my dirtbike, my buddy's R6. and my girlfriend's dad's kawi zx1000.

There only seems to be one variation. That is the pin size. Some use 6mm pins, others use 8. But it pretty much means you can buy whatever footpeg you want and it will fit. there is a 25% chance you will have to drill out the holes in the footpeg with an 8mm drill. There is a 25% chance you will need some 6mm-8mm spacers.

This is not a guarantee, just an observation. Maybe i got lucky?

Fab :) I shall take off one of my footpegs and see what size it is!

The only thing one can add to an orange bike is... more smashing orangey bits! ;)

I appreciate the info, cheers!

So I want to put a new set of grips on do I? Not likely.

I would like to know which Italian zoo is missing its f***ing gorilla. Penetrating fluid and heat applied to the bolt on the bar end weight and it WILL NOT F***ING SHIFT. The POS f***ing bolts that Guzzi seem to use for every f***ing thing round off as soon as you f***ing look at the f***ers.

What am I supposed to do if I want to change grips? I'm going to have to buy another set of f***ing bars if I ever want to strip these down!

Also... does anyone know if the bar clamps will clamp a 1" bar? Guzzi of course uses 1 1/4" for the clamps and 1" for the grips.

Edit:
Oh, 1 1/8". Hmm... orange bars...? :D

Edit:
Ah-ha! Saved by an old Indian rope trick. Get a Torx, hammer it in, make a new key. Heeheehee.

The bar end weights are not fitted in the Mandello factory, they came in the crate. It’s the gorilla from the UK zoo

Late model 'Guzzi & Aprilias have the same setup fpr bars ends. I found out when I put a Throttlemiester on both my Tuono & Griso.

Thought I'd asked but obviously not...

Does anyone know if Griso controls will go onto Renthal Fat Bars?

They will fit but you have to pull two brass locating pins out of the controls and wrap a small piece of rubber or tape around the bars in two small spots. You will have to do some minor fab work to fit bar end weights too.

Okay... new question!

Does anyone know what kind of adapters would work to convert Harley pegs (male or female type - this guy does both) to fit the Griso?

:D
