Strength of stock G1100 internals + transmission

I am very loosely entertaining the idea of supercharging my G11. Nothing more than an idea at the moment but I was wondering if anyone knows what safe bhp you can run the stock engine internals upto? Same goes for the transmission.

I would be more concerned about detonation/pinging. the G11s are hemi engines, which are highly prone to this. You are forcing more air into the cylinder, effectively increasing the total compression, thereby causing/exacerbating the situation.

Thanks for mentioning the detonation characteristics of the engine... I would have to bear that in mind when thinking about intercoolers, thermal efficiencies of supercharger types, RON numbers etc,to me the design and engineering side of things is the fun bit so im not too worried.
 
This idea has resurfaced...but I could still do with finding out how strong the stock internals and gearbox are...anyone?
 
Really depends on how you are going to ride it, if your drag racing and speed shifting, perhaps not so long. If you are riding more normally and just want more power, probably not a big issue. you may not get the 200,000 miles most guzzi's get before needing serious stuff, but should be reliable. Todd is building a supercharged 8V griso, and I dont think he's to concerned aboout it grenading on him
