All,

I snagged a Skidmarx hugger several months back and I had I am afraid to admit I lost some of the hardware that came with it. I haven't contacted their US distributor because I was hoping someone had a nice detailed snapshot.

Long story short, I cannot find the block spacer and longer bolt for the left side (I have everything else) and I was hoping to see if someone had a picture of the left hand side of the bike where it mounts up. After scouring the site, I found a lot of pics of the right hand bracket but not the left. I have tried a few configurations but the hugger seems to still rub the tire.

Thanks in advance

The LHS bracket is a simple 90 degree bent bit of flat bar. The end that fastens to the swingarm uses the existing bolt. The end that fastens to the hugger has a square piece of threaded flat bar as a nut. It's a very simple arrangement with no way of adjusting the spacing between the hugger and the tyre - unless you bend the bracket or use some packers. At least this is what came with mine....

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks for the photos gents! At least I know I didn't lose any hardware.

I re-mounted mine as well and the gap is so small between the tire and the hugger that any bumps will make it rub. Looks like I will need to play with it some more.

I put one on my Stelvio, and had to fiddle fart around with it for a bit. The 190 Pirelli Scorpion Trail is just a tiny bit too wide, but the 180 Continental on now fits well. There shouldn't be any change with bumps, as it moves with the swing arm and tire. Just shim and fiddle as required.
