Deer took me out. I think the deer won. Damage to me not bad just my ankle but bike is going to need some work. Looking for used parts does anyone have a clue where I can start?
Need front end stuff, dash, headlight, bars with switches, fender, r/s lower fork, axle.
Could have been worse I guess. Of course firemen had to cut off all my riding gear and helmet needs replacing. At least I'll have the winter to get it back together and for me to heal.

Hate to see another deer crash post, they are so unpredictable and in huge numbers in my area. Glad you are relatively OK and best of luck with mending your ankle and repairing the bike.

Cheers

Deer scare the beejezus out of me  - what time of day was it?

I noticed a while back someone parting out an entire Breva on ebay - still might be some stuff there you can use.

Get better...or get luckier!

Early about 10 am wish I knew more but only thing I've got is whats in police report I lost about 2 hours of time that day.
I got some parts from ebay but still looking for a few things Its going to cost more to replace my gear then to fix the bike.
Doc said ankle may take 2-3 months to get healed so there is no great rush to get the bike on road still got my Norton to ride so all is not lost. Thanks to all for the thoughts still kind of feels like a dream

What a bugger. We wish you a rapid recovery and cheap parts/gear replacement costs.I thought dodging Roos, emus and wombats and the rest of the Australian wildlife was "interesting" but imagine dodging deer ! Good luck.
