Did you know MG makes a rear fender extender?

Why yes they do. MG part # GU973270000004. This slick little piece of plastic fits around the rear fender of the Norge, Breva 1100 and probably the 1200 sport. It not only makes the fender longer but also makes it wider. For those who have a MG top box on their Norge and have driven any amount of miles, you have most likely found out that the back wheel kicks up all kinds of crap that chips the hell out of the top box. This extender should end all that. I only found out about it because a member on Wildgoose chase was selling one he never had installed on his Breva that he sold.

Do they make a front fender extender as well? I don't run a top box but I do ride on gravel roads and in the rain and I'd like to stop the grit and grime on my engine.

I would be interested ina front fender extender also!

I have the rearfender extender, it looks OK when panniers are installed, but I think it's to BIG when riding without...

(Darling, does my a.. look f.. in this dress???) always the wrong answer...

How about a pic of that rear fender extender, already! I'd like to see how it looks. After all, one man's 'wide load' is another man's 'junk in the trunk'... :D

Google knows everything!

Why didn't I think of that?!

Still, was kind of hoping to see a pic from farther away, to give a sense of the size issue...

I don't currently run a top box either, but the back of the Mrs.' jacket was covered with an alarming sludge-stripe after our last rain ride...

Pyramid Plastics make a front fender extender which fits the Norge/Breva, it's actually for one of the later BM GS range, but I'm not sure which one.

Here's a couple of pics.

Thanks for the pics!

So busy here in the Northeast with the three S's (skiing, snowshoeing and shoveling) that I haven't had a chance to check back sooner.

That's a real neat looking solution to the grit-slinging factor... Looks like no visible fasteners necessary?
