Hi Folks, does anyone know where I can get a set of stainless steel rocker cover bolts from ? I think the standard ones look a bit naff and have started to tarnish and dull already, despite living in a garage. Any ideas ?

Just got it firing!
Hey guys,
I just happened to order a "bolt kit" for my Moto Guzzi V11 from Stainless Cycle:

I just received the kit in the mail yesterday, and the bolts look great to me! I think the entire kit was something like $40.

I also had "problems" with the "almost zincplated" bolts on my Griso.
I wrote a topic about it, but the reactions weren't ...nice :angry: ... So, it's removed.
When you put stainless steel bolts in aluminium, remember to use grease.
Corrosion between alu and stainless will ruin your thread. That will take some time, but will happen....
This will also happen between titanium and aluminium.
I renewed the standard M6 and M8 bolts, good quality and well galvanised now
The special bolts (around front and rear wheels, brakes,...) are zincplated again, but now in a good way...
Now, my Griso is looking like it should :mrgreen: .

Yes Ad B it seems certain bolts are only shown the galvanising process rather than getting involved in it !!!

Have a look on the UK Ebay, quite a few offering stainless sets of bolts there. Or take one existing bolt out and go to your nearest fastenings supplier. Can I have x of these in stainless please.
