Hi All

Christmas wishes to all but especially you guys' up in the frozen north! Haven't seen anyone south of Watford posting...anyone out there? Can't wait for the sun to come back, winter's came early and it's outstayed it's welcome. Got a new engine to run in and that ain't going to happen with snow on the ground.

Cheers, Paxo

Hi Paxo, I'm in the same boat as you - halfway through the run in and the weathers gone pear shaped ! Still, I shouldn't expect anything less being from the 'wrong' side of Hadrians Wall...

Hello mate, but when the weather's good you've got all the best biking roads in the UK IMHO. (That'll upset any Welsh bikers!) Have a great Christmas and New Year. Let's hope for an early spring and a long summer.

I come from Chatham, N. Kent.
I have a new to me bike I still haven't riden, too much snow and ice. Hopefully in January.

Hi Patrick. Know the area well. Bet those hills have been causing a few problems with the snow, Kent always seem to cop the worst of snow.

We had a smattering in London too, and then everyone forgot how to drive!

That implies that they knew in the first place.
I lived in London for years, a good place to learn bike survival skills.

BOLLUX. I might be in Essex now, but I cut my teeth on my Welsh roads. That was before the police taliban fucked it up for us. Although, there are still a few roads they haven`t caught on to yet. Get some off road riding in, to sharpen you up a bit.

Hello Paxo and Rob too!
off to play change wheels, remove wheel for tyre change (local tyre place as they do bike wheels) got a set of Avons to try Storm 2 i think they are called.
Hope all ok down in the southern counties and up north too.

Steve

Hi Steve

Just fitted a BT45 on the rear. Not the sort of thing you'd want to do away from the comforts of home I think!

Wife's working up at Papworth during the week. Might take a spin out to see her next week if the weather holds. Need to take the shine off that tyre and get the Ikons set up.

Cheers, Paxo
