For a 51 year old 6ft 230 what is the most comfortable bike in the Guzzi lineup for me? I have owned a few Cali came close to buying the Griso?. The 08 2v sport sounds as if it just needs some higher bars and bags to be a comfortable
comuter and short tourer.Im not a racer type and stay within the speed limits. All feedback welcome as I am itchin to
get a bike. Tom

It's all a matter of opinion. I own several varieties of geese, but for me the most comfortable is the 1200 Sport with slightly higher bars and lowered footrests. Reason? The sitting position seems to be more on the insides of the thighs rather than the butt, negating the numb butt feeling after several hours in the seat.

Second would be the two piece seats on the older (pre EV) Californias with floorboards, and the opportunity to relocate to the passenger footrests if no pillion passenger on board. But I concede these seats can be annoying for those taller riders with long legs.

Your height is close to me (I'm 5'11''), and the 1100 Breva with stock bars and a higher seat works well. I even use it for long distance. The 1200 sport is very similar also. So you have the Breva, Norge (about the same ergonomics) Sport, and even the Stelvio should work well. I'm uncertain on the Griso, but just try one to see what you think of it.

A Stelvio. By a large margin. The Breva, Sport and Norge all have a seat that locks you in place and the reach to the bars will have your stomach hitting the tank. The Griso tank doesn't have the hump in it but it suffers from the same minimal legroom as the Norge/Breva/Sport.

The Stelvio has a very large, flat seat that allows you to move around. It has the most legroom of current Guzzis and a sit up and beg seating position with no humped tank. It's similar ergonomically to a BMW GS.

I own a 1200 Sport that I've done 700 mile days on but I have Mike Bui bar risers, a set of Throttlemeisters, a large Saddlemen gel/sheepskin pad and I'm 5' 11" with a 32" inseam and weigh 175.
