Hello to all!
It' s good to be back!
I want to inform you about everything that happened the last two months

First of all my dealer changed the cover of my tank . I think you all remember the problem with the bubbles near the cup

I also had my first crash :( with the stelvio while driving off road.
I am fine, my stelvio too. The damage cost me 30 euros (the right bar bent a little -i removed it and had it paint).
The protective bars payed of their money. No damage to the engine just 2 scraches. I will be more carefull in the future.

Now i enjoy winter rides in the island and expecting the summer!

Ride safe!;)

Welcome back, and thanks for the updates.

Any photos of the tip-over damage? I'll be curious to see/hear, as I plan of visiting much of the unpaved Southwest U.S.

I found the same thing with mine. I pulled the tank filler and all of the paint hidden underneath is bubbled. Has anyone else experienced this (and has anyone else pulled their tank filler and peaked underneath)?

Good to have you back dsirris1976.
We've had more than paint chipping while you have been off breaking trees or what ever !
Cam followers, menu switches, where should I start ?
Still, Guzzi seem happy to change bits over.

Yeah and I'm just sitting here letting you lot sort out the teething problems so that if and when a Stelvio appears somwhere closer than the next continent, it will be just fine and dandy and ready for some serious bush bashing..... :p

Don't be despondant about a little crash in the bush. Big bikes like to lie down and have a little rest now and then, so all is normal. Good to see that Guzzi came to the party and fixed the paint.

so i think that i have a lot of reading to do

:p

Lol, yes read them all, but after all the troubles the Stelvio is still a special bike. Got mine back from it's 'second' first service today and it sounds nice.
I.ve been riding the Pan Euro this week for work, but getting on the Guzzi just to drive it into the garage was pure bliss.
Menu switch is still not working, maybe they frogot to look at it. Just an annoying fault as I cant set the clock, Still come 13kservice they will need to use it to cancel the service light.

Hey Gary, me thinks you are completely in loooooove, you poor sick puppy. :) It is refreshing to have someone around who just gets on with riding and doesn't let the little "issues" spoil the fun. Still better to be in love with a Guzzi than.....

Hi all ! Forgot my password and can't seem to get it sent to me, so have re-registered, I have been a bit lax since the site went down, but it's good to be back, not really been out on the Stelvio of late, awfull weather ! But having seen Guzziriders pics I feel a bit soft ! But the thought of all that salt eating my bike depresses me !

Welcome back matey!

Salt is not a problem- I just wash the bike after I have used it!

Guzzis look a better when they are a bit used and tatty anyway!

I can't get on this forum very often- my broadband connection boots me whenever I log onto this board- it is fine with every other website- anyone got any suuggestions?

Not sure about that one Guzzirider...........
Big Mick, I just returned from a long weekend working in Cornwall, not on the Guzzi, I used my pan Euro, but the same thing applies wash, wash, wash. If you got one of those Polish car washes in your town they'll jet wash the bike for £1.50 / £2.....job done. You'll learn some great road craft during the winter, and get a real sense of belonging when passing a 365 biker.
