hey folks- I'm trying to find this, but in the meantime- I just brought the 2007 griso 1100 home, and smelled fuel. gas is dripping from a hose near the charcoal can. No obvious spuds or fittings that it would attach to. Is this some sort of overflow line? Sorry if there is a stupid & obvious answer for this. Thanks very much!

Yep... the fuel tank does vent from the rear of the tank to that area. Also, just because the canister is there doesn't mean it was plumbed correctly :(

If you haven't done so yet, download the manuals for it from the downloads tab at top of the page. The illustrations should be very helpful

It worth checking the vent pipes aren't kinked. I had a sudden big fuel leak when the tank was very full and couldn't work out what was wrong until I took the tank off. The vent pipe had got "folded" when the tank had been put on. This in effect sealed them so the tank couldn't vent. The result was pressure built up and had pushed the pipe off the connector spiggot. It only leaked when the tank was very full and the rising heat from the engine was hot enough to make the fuel expand. It was a simple fix: I just pushed the vent pipe back on the spiggot & re-routed it so it didn't get caught on any thing when the tank was put back on.
