Hi all,

some time in the spring there was a thread about a Breva slightly leaking from the left side of the bike. One cause was postulated to be the o-ring in the breather tube. A fix using a Viton 34.65 x 1.78 mm o-ring worked.

I have a similar problem. I am going to Steelhorse on Wednesday to have them pull the tank and airbox...but I'm not sure where the tube is, nor what exactly to tell them to look for.

Looking at the parts manual, I'm not sure what page and diagram is appropriate.

Any help would be most appreciated.

[note--I posted this before, but it didn't show up on the forum. Weird]

Page 46 of the parts manual, part 18 on the diagram is the breather outlet, and part 39 is the viton seal. You can see where it is on the bike from that diagram too.

Thanks, Brian.

Looking at the bike again today, it's difficult to tell whether it's the breather outlet weeping from the back of its housing, or the sensor just behind it (oil pressure sensor? oil temperature sensor)?, which is somewhat covered in oil.

I think I'll wait till I can leave the bike for a more concerted teardown/inspection. Till then, I'll just watch the level.
