I have been checking into getting the larger windscrean for my Griso 8V. The US Guzzi site only lists the small "fly" screan which is what I have now. The UK/European sites have a larger screan that would seem to work well. I would put the larger one on for longer trips.
Any of know how to get one of these? I may ask my dealer but if it not available in the US they may not be able to get it.
Your thoughts are welcome.

If you don't come across the large OEM screen, several of us have had luck fitting a universal A770 from Givi

Part # 977894 I believe. It's actually quite a nice little screen and suits the bike as well as providing some shelter from the airflow but bugger-all from rain!

For winter I have a 'National Cycle' Steet Shield which is larger again and offers substantial protection from the elements. it's a s ugly as a hat full of farty arseholes but it works doing the JOB it was designed to do.

I checked all over the US for one and no luck . MI out of seattle said they could get one but it would take about six weeks to arrive so I did some research and was told not to order directly from Italy as the order would likely get lost after I had paid for it. I found one in Great Britain at Maxmoto . They get it from Italy first which is the way to go. Took about 3 weeks to get here and I'm on Van. Island in BC. It arrived without effort and no issues. I paid list price 178 pounds. Helluva price but glad I did it as it works and looks great . www.maxmoto co.uk. Good luck Pete and happy motoring .

Sorry Tony I thought you were Pete.......it would help if I read the whole damn thing.............good luck anyway ....

I would also like the larger Griso shield but $302.50 from Moto International who gets it from Teo Lamers is just too much IMHO. Plus I'm sure there would be additional freight from Seattle to Chicago. I have seen them on eBay from UK dealers from time to time though.

All the best,

Mark

The 178 pounds included shipping and all in. I think the base price was 151 pounds. Still pricey but really looks like it was meant for the bike and makes those damn mirrors look smaller. I saw one on ebay six months ago but didn't buy it. haven't seen one since......
