Don't know if anyone else has seen this. But I took my crossover off again to get another hole plugged in it. When I took the slip-on off, the bracket that attaches it to the bike was cracked almost all the way through. Anyone else who has this pipe on their Breva/Norge/Sport might want check it out.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you use the lowering link on the rear mount when you installed your Mistral?

No lowering link, straight to the bike. When I re-mount I'm going to use some rubber washers just to take up some of vibes if thats what caused it.

Just got a Mistral MG 1105 stainless road legal. The OEM is a better made but I need that v-twin sound every one talks about. My can uses a drop link to accomodate pannier. I can see rubber washers mounting the droplink/can have perished. I have a lot more vibes give I dumped the rubber mounted cat. So as above I'l use some large plumbers washers to mount the mistral and hope they don't melt.

So I put the mistral on and it fits better than oem on to mistral crossover. A little louder at tick over and riding but you have to take the DB killer clearly hear a big difference. How do other mistral guzzis ride db killer out or in?
