I'm new to Moto Guzzi (08 Norge). Do Moto Guzzi dealers have some kind of agreement so that they cannot sell parts on line? I cannot find one dealer that has a parts cataloge and parts available.

Thanks for your help

I'm in Australia and have used this site: <www.stein-dinse.com> - they are in Germany. Their on-line parts catalogues
are very comprehensive and you can get immediate up to date info on price and availability of parts. I recently purchased panniers and racks plus a swag of spares (gaskets, cables etc.) from them and they were in Oz. in 7 days.

Allan - I have obtained quotes from Berndt on a couple of occasions but he always seems to be outrageously expensive compared with the parent company in Germany. I know you have to factor in freight but the stuff I purchased from Germany required a 600 x 600 x 600 (mm) carton and weighed almost 14 kg. and they charged $40 to fly it to Oz. - compared to Australia Post I thought that was pretty good value - the 40 litre panniers and racks (both by Hepco Becker
but the panniers are branded Moto Guzzi ) cost me $550 - I couldn't find anything anywhere near that price locally.

I went with a laminar lip http://www.laminarlip.com/ I had tried a larger windshield and felt like I was pushing a barn door. In a good crosswind which can get interesting at times it was miserable. The laminar lip solved all problems and it's not as ugly as it looks in the pictures.
If you want to, you can remove it but I never do.

Calsci has a couple of set sizes but they will cut to whatever size you want, prior to shipping to you if you know what you want. You can specify x inches above the top of the mounting holes so you can get it so you are looking just over it (my preference) in the middle of the movement range, use the motor to adjust as needed. Whatever you get will be wider than the stock screen, only the stock narrows at the top. Personally I am happy with the stock screen, but then I am short & live in very warm LA.

Hi Lofty,

Wasn't aware of that as I have generally only dealt with Tommy Newell and only occasionally with Berndt. Never with the parent Co. Will keep that in mind when Tom can't help
