Exhaust note change?

When I first purchased the Stelvio ….. lets just say neighbors knew I was leaving to go to work …… at 6am. :blush:
Personally like the rumble. (C’est la vie)
After 10200km on the stock exhaust it seems to be louder.

It’s popping much more on deceleration than when first purchased.
Is it because of exhaust restriction change?

Valve adjustments are good
TB balancing seems to be OK.
No exhaust leaks that I know of.

Sounds more and more like the LM3 :woohoo:
Any one else experienced this ... any thoughts?
 
Dan, Never noticed a change in exhaust sound in about 8000-9000km. ( installed Todds pipe around then). As for popping I seem to recall ,I think it was Kurt that had an intake leak around the manifold ( or whatever the tubes down stream of the Throttle bodies are called) as the clamps had loosened off a bit over time.Might be worth a check.

Didn't think about (intake tube) leaks could have been a possibility.
I checked it out last night ....nah aint that!
