I am going to do a fly and ride to pick up my Stelvio on Oct 6th and going down the road to the Barber Vintage Festival
near Birmingham on the 7th 8th and maybe Sunday the 9th.
I will be parking my Guzzi in the Motorcycle Classics Magazine Guzzi corral.
The magazine is celebrating the 90th birthday of Guzzi and the guzzi corral seems like a fine place to meet up and say howdy.
The folks at Motorcycle Classics Magazine are real guzzi fans. I used to work for that magazine and they do love the brand.
They are also holding a vintage motorcycle show on Saturday in the same area.
I thought it would be cool if we had a big turnout of guzzi jugs representing!
I also plan an iron butt on the new stelvio on the way home. I figured it would be a good way to get to know her by munching some miles.

Hey...thanks for starting this thread. Well, I'm planning on heading over to this. Didn't know about the volunteer option but that looks like the way to go. Where is the option for these tickets? I don't see them on the generic buy ticket page.

Any recommendations on where to stay? I know there are two hotels at that exit, wouldn't be surprised if they are either already booked or jack their prices up a bunch.
Regards,
Anthony

NEWS FLASH: MORE CAMPSITES AVAILABLE

I got a call today from Carrie at the Barber Festival. They have opened another area for camping. If interested, call: (877) 332-7804

I had hoped to make it, as I am flying to Atlanta this evening ... and at QC airport now. Unfortunately, too many chores around the Atlanta home. Sigh.

Hope all have a grand time. Cannot imagine how you'd fail at that mission.
