From what I hear, the final version may look completely different.

And I fully hope so!!

You'd better get used to the look of the engine. on the GMG was a real life model of just that engine. Dual spark like the bmw oilheads, cam rolers instead of tappeds and a raised valve cover against the noise i think. :p

By the look of all the retro conversions, if you like the older style of Guzzi then the only bike to buy is a Bellagio.
You can have brand new modern mechanicals (and unfortunately, too much electrics) with refinement but style it anyway you like.

Overall it's not too bad. The bags are a little to "Corbin-esque" for me. I hope that ergonomically there is more leg room than the current Cali's.

Sorry boys but I quite like the overall look of it.
At the risk of being verbally slaughtered, I'm not the world’s biggest fan of the current California which in my opinion (I stress only an opinion) is looking a bit tired.
The only thing I would say about the new model is that it looks a bit generic Japanese which mightn't suit the old heads but may appeal to a new generation of Guzzi fans which can't be a bad thing if it keeps the brand viable.
It is still recognisably a Guzzi though
I'd be interested to know a few specs like power, torque, weight and seat height, anyone got any figures.

I await the onslaught just don't tell anyone on Wildguzzi what I said.
