So, having put off some bolt-on bits and pieces for the Griso for several weeks because of traveling, etc., this past weekend allowed me time to, well, take my time (because I am slow as molasses on a cold day) and have fun in my Milan garage pretending I am a wrench.
I really am lucky for a displaced geo-bachelor. Love my garage back in Atlanta, but I am hardly suffering here. The apartment complex's large underground garage is only about 1/3 full when everyone's in, so I can actually ride in there. And, it's heated. "Only" stays about 65F when door isn't open, but even when 8F outside and cars coming and going, never saw it drop below 57F. Mighty fine.
I brought some tools from Atlanta, have had Kathi bring in a few more, carried in several in my luggage from my MLK trip, and, of course, wandered through Sears, Wal-Mart, Discount Auto, Harbor Freight, and a flea market a few too many times, too, buying what I probably don't need ... but Wayne might some day.
Anyway, FWIW, here are few pix: http://tinyurl.com/Garage-Bound-in-Milan
Regards from the American tundra,
Bill
