Hi Beetle, I'll be in my old stomping ground of Griffith mid next month to meet up with some old friends and then we are off to Tassie for a week of tyre shredding

If you come through Wagga give us a hoy. I would like to see a red Griso. I probably would've gone red if they were available...

Hi Beetle
Stand back and take a real long slow look at your Griso and you'll realise you have gone to the DARK SIDE  ,
thats why most of them are black .
If you do a search on here you will find a post on Griso suspension set up with a reasonable starting poing to work from that worked for me.
Four and a half years and 50000 ks and I still get the GRIN  everytime I get on it .
later swagzz

I took it to see Mr. Roper for the 1000km 1st service and whilst in his clutches he adjusted the suspension to a good starting point. My spine thanks him.

Hello and welcome to this forum i am also new here i hope this forum provide us lot of help and discussion about all topics.

Well this is all new to me!!
My name is Steve, I live in eastern Melbourne an I've owned my beloved Daytona RS for 12 or so years.
In general she has treated me well and I do like being the unusual one in crowd. I've had a few issues over the years and now that she is getting on a bit I would like input from people that know what they're talking about. It's disturbing when people (supposedly professional) look at you stupidly and answer you with "Dunno".
No real issues at the moment but I would like comment on the amount of valve gear noise these engines produce.
Mine has been 'chatty' since new but it does seem a bit excessive compared to the two valve engines of the era.
No one that has serviced the bike has suggested a problem but it is always in the back of my mind.

Cheers

Well 'duff, if it ain't broke in 12 years of "chatty valve train" I'd say don't fix it.

Don't know who the Guzzi expert(s) is/are down your way but I can recommend Peter Roper at Bungendore near Canberra. He's on here.

The price of transport will pale into insignificance compared to the professional "DUNNO'S" F*%&K -ups if you let them have their way.

Cheers Buddy,
Ps. When you are sick of the Daytona, call me.
