Re: Outlaw Ride 2012

POST UPDATE 3/21/2012 It's getting to be time to make some decisions about going. We have 12 bikes and 14 people confirmed. Also 9 rooms for each night so that will be actually cut back since everyone is room sharing. I'll work out t-shirt prices to take orders this weekend and close the shirt order April 5th. The room and shirt info will be private email to those attending and will not be posted here. To be, or not to be?

Re: Outlaw Ride 2012

yep that time of year...time for an Outlaw ride!!! count me in.

Re: Outlaw Ride 2012

No can do, conflicts with important family event back east. Wish I could. Will be going to 3-5 other events this spring/summer though.

Re: Outlaw Ride 2012

If this is a yearly event I would love to go next year. I'll be at the Overland Expo near Flagstaff the 18-20th of May and won't be able to do both trips. Love the southwest and looking forward to riding as much of it as possible!

The first Outlaw ride came spontaneously from a desire of Todd to see Tombstone Arizona and was a great success. Trying to repeat with an "annual" ride fell short, especially after the success of the first ride. The riders here in Arizona and some in SoCal have expressed a desire to do another. With the same spontaneous spirit of OR'08 (Tombstone) I have laid a plan for OR'12. To give OR'12 fresh life and adventure I've chosen an entirely different route and area. So far this year I already have as many commitments as were on OR'08 and we're more then 50 days to go yet. Will we do OR'13 (Navajo Nation) ? No. Will there be another Outlaw Ride ? Maybe.
Show no fear, ride like an Outlaw.

Re: Outlaw Ride 2012

Lupo ... You're making this a lot harder than it has to be! You even made me check the calendar to see if there was any chance I could do both. It sounds like an awesome time and if there is a OR'13 I am there! I would love to ride with you guys, especially anywhere in the southwest. I grew up in Albuquerque and I sure do miss a lot of things about it. Especially the thunderstorms ... but don't get me started!

Any chance of you stopping by Overland Expo?

Re: Outlaw Ride 2012

I went to the Overland Expo last year in Amado, AZ. Interesting stuff there. I liked the hardcore tent trailers out of South Africa but all in all the Expo is a Trade Show. The Outlaw Ride is an adventure. Show no fear, ride like an Outlaw.

Lupo, I would love to do the whole thing up to the Canadian border. Alas, other stuff prevents me from doing so.
