Here ya go, my new Griso saddle. I picked out the leather, told the upholsterer what I wanted and they made it happen. I maintain the leather with URAD leather conditioner and URAD Mr. Jojo leather weather-proofer. It isn't in these pics, but she also made a strap out of the chestnut leather so I could choose which one to use, or switch it up once in awhile.

The pics are cut off to fit within the limiting dimensions of the forum window, and I don't know how to post them as thumbnails, but here are the links to check out the full images, they're worth a look.

Good job Sir. :)
I like the French stitching too.

yep, that was a must. The saddle looks MUCH better in person too. The three-panel, two-tone leather gives it a distinctly Italian look.

Thanks for all the compliments everybody!

Really nice. Great shade of brown.

If you could find some type of dark brown grips of an otherwise satisfactory design to balance things out, it's look even better. (In my opinion anyway.) Looks amazing as it is though.

Wow! Very nice... My seat is showing wear and I was thinking of having it recovered too. You made the choice easy :)

Hi,
very nice result, well done.
Did you read the topic from Pascal, what he did with his seat?

Also looks stunning!
Coming winter period I want to do something like that...

I had not read that thread until you linked me there. That looks really good too, but I like the overhanging seat on the griso. It's different, which is the whole point to buying a guzzi in the first place.. everything about them is different. He did a great job on his seat mod though, and I'm interested to see what he does with a tank.
