Hello all! I'm the proud new owner of a 2011 V7 classic (in red) whose been reading this board for a while, and just want to say hi. It's my 2nd bike (after owning my 1st, a klr650, for 6yrs and 35,000 miles). It is definitely safe to say that I'm in love. I found it used at the dealer that originally sold it with 2900 miles, a rear rack, chrome engine guards, and mistral slash cut pipes. It makes such sweet music! Honestly, I can't believe I ever considered Ducats and beemers!

Welcome to the Club!

I had a V7C before I switched to the Griso and I really enjoyed it - it's a great little bike.

Make sure to keep a close eye on the engine oil level (but don't overfill it) for the first 15,000 (or even 20,000) mi - many V7C take a loooong time to break in and seat the piston rings, and burn quite a bit of oil in the meanwhile.

I've got the same rear rack, but I had it powdercoated black, as it matched the colors of the white V7 Classic better.
I'll post a pic when I get a chance, later on.

Joe
