sacred screw's function

Thanks for the answers to my questions, but now I have another. Is the TPS ever moved independent of the idle adjustment screw? How would it be replaced if need be. Would the position setting be established as a function of resistance? if so what is that value? Or a function of millivolt output to the ECU? I have read that a Harley Davidson Tps can work, but the resistance values per given degree of rotation may be off, yes?

Thanks

On the 5AM and 15 RC bikes the TPS is in a fixed position. The mounting points are single holes unlike other bikes where the TPS is physically set. That is why it is set electronically. If you replace one, you have to do a reset with software (VDSTS, Axone, Navigator, Centurion, Ducatidig). The Harley (adjustable) TPS may be used on the P8, 15M and 16M equipped bikes.
