Saprisa to Enduralast conversion, SPII

I started the conversion on my 87 SPII going from the Saprisa to the 45W Enduralast alternator. I immediately ran into trouble, as every wiring diagram I have for this bike shows the Bosch alternator system only, not Saprisa (which has no regulator or diode board, and far fewer wires). The Enduralast instructions, while very vague for Guzzi with a Bosch, are totally useless if you have a Saprisa. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for the 87 SPII with a Saprisa??
Also, I see there is a 22mm extention on the new Enduralast rotor, which is meant to insert into the front crank seal like the Bosch rotor. The Saprisa sits in front of the seal instead. Is there any issue with swapping out the larger Saprisa style seal for the smaller Bosch seal? Are these seals common enough to buy at the local bearing shop?
FInally, if anyone has done this swap on a Sparisa equipped Guzzi, any help would be greatly (!!!) appreciated. I am no good with electrics and am petrified that, when I finally plug this thing in, it will immediately immolate in a great puff of smoke because I botched the wiring.

Saprisa charging circuit should be about the same for all Guzzis. Carl has one for the 650s here https://www.guzzitech.com/attachments/ ... aprisa.gif Since it is the same year bike, it should be pretty close. Also the outer diameter of the front seal is the same for the front covers, so getting one with the correct inner diameter is all you need to do. To be sure, compare the part numbers of the front cover for a bike with a Bosch and a Saprisa. If the cover numbers are the same, use the seal you need.
 
Ditto John's advice on seals. Could you try contacting Enduralast directly? They may already have the wiring solution, or may be able to work one out for you
 
As the enduralast alternator has a permanent magnet rotor, always ensure that it is kept inside the stator. If stored by itself for a short time, the rotor will demagnetise, thus losing the additional output.

From what they say about the rec/reg, it is the same as used on the later Ducati alternators fitted post '94 or so. It will not be the same as the Saprisa wiring which requires a wire from the stator to the battery positive.
 
Thanks folks. I downloaded the 1987 Cali III schematic from Carl Allison (on Benders site), and it appears to be applicable to the SPIII. I should be able to figure this out now, I hope!
Also, I contacted Euroelectrics, and they kindly offered to send me the correct crank/timing chest seal that is common to the Bosch and Enduralast is intended to replace the Saprisa type seal. Too bad, as I just put the timing chest cover back in place a few weeks ago after replacing the timing chain and tensioner; now it looks as though I will be pulling it off again to replace the seal. The bike has been on the lift since October, and won't likely hit the road until May.
I was not aware of the issue regarding the loss of efficiency of the stator permanent magnet if stored separately from the rotor, so thanks for that advice!
