I started getting a vibration noise and traced it to a failed grommet on the right front corner of the oil sump bash plate. Has anyone else had this failure? I need to find replacement grommets and they don't look like an off-the-shelf item. Any suggestions? I'm headed for Ace Hardware to see if I can find something temporary...

I had one split on me but figured it was from over tightening it. Picked one up at Home Depot. Not the exact same size but worked no problem. Had to spray a little WD40 on it to slip it in as it was a tight fit. Would think Ace would have them. Found it in the hardware section. Don't recall the size but just bring the bolt and easy enough to match up.

Thanks canuck, I'll be stopping by Ace on the way home this evening. I'm hoping to find something made from poly. I found some in McMaster-Carr and may order a full set to see how they work. I'm afraid the rubber ones will just continue to cut through from the vibration...

Make sure you still have the spacer washer that goes on the bolt. I lost mine for a week (then found it under my tool box). Pretty sure that is what did my grommet in as I tightened the bolt to much and squished it.
