Hi Everybody!

I have testdriven the MG Griso and MG classic v7. I loved the Griso but there was something that annoyed me and I would like to see if there is anybody else who has experinced it and I would like to know if the MG Norge behaves the same way?

Reving it through it's range I felt a pulsing vibration? Is that something you guys also experinced? Does the Norge behave in similar way?

Griso 8V absolutely not, it was set up wrong remove play in the throttle cables and balance the Throttle bodies, Norge is subject to the same issue and easy setup fix. The V7 is cannot be compared to it's big bothers. I had a 2V Norge, a V7C and now only the Griso 8V, I don't miss either one.

Hi,

I'm loving and enjoying a fabulous G12 (when winter season is gone...).
My G12 doesn't do that pulsing vibration.
The only vibration during accelerating through the revs is me...
The feeling, joy and happines. That's whats vibrating through my brain cells... B)
Okay, serious now.
I only feel a tiny kind of "slow wave" vibration when I do a (near) constant ride.
A technician said to me its the working between the ECU and the O2 sensor.
During accelerating I only feel power, much power. Nothing less, nothing more...

Aptly named "surging." If it is ~3500 RPM, it is transitioning between closed loop (w/lambda/02-sensor) and open loop (above lambda/02-sensor correction). If it is outside of this range, then it would be considered a lean surge.
Another thing worthy of continued mention, is that even when set up perfectly, Guzzi motors take ~10k miles to break/bed-in, like most of it's other European counterparts... but to hit it home, proper set up is paramount. Most unfortunately do not get it right.

Hoi Ab, Do you have you Guzzi serviced ? or do you service it your self ? if you have it serviced which guzzi dealer do you use ? I took mine once to Nijmegen and was not impressed at all so I didn't go back there, next time I went to Barendrecht and I thought they were ok but the next time I went there they were not so enthusiastic and I dont think it was set up properly so do you know where I can get it set up reliably ? I live in Zeeland.

Gr. Steve.

Is this issue with the pulsing vibration solved within a certain year?
