Hi,
I am in the process of buying an out of state griso 8v. For registration in CA I need to show them the emissions sticker . Can any of you tell me where that sticker is located on the bike. Thanks for the help.
Thanks

I wonder if that is one of the stickers that took so much effort to take off the gas tank in my Griso and CalVin and if that is the fact I wonder how hard it would be to receive one from Piaggio, I learned working on cars that for us to get the emission stickers replace on the hood of Honda cars we needed a rep to come and see the car then we would get the stickers.

Good luck with your needs,

Roberto.

I took stickers off tank, but do not think that was one.

I checked under my saddle and on other places visible there. Nope.

There is, however, on the stock can and OEM Termi a stamped-in-metal certification. It is on the back side and not visible without removing, craning like a sonofagun, or peering thru rear wheel spokes. Not sure how happy your Kali DMV folks will be about that! ;)

On the bright side, the exhaust comes off in short order.

Best wishes with the "Da Man."

Unfortunately, they don't tell you where it is...

At $1.94, who cares? Buy it and stick wherever (of of sight!) it pleases you.

Good catch.

Of course, now I have to go back down and look over mine again. I cannot imagine that sticker being one of the tank ones, but who knows. Those didn't make it out of the showroom.

Thanks a lot for the help guys. I really appreciate it. I am ordering one from online store. I hope that works with dmv. Thank you.

I'm peeling some decals off an 07 Griso. Talk about baked on!

The emissions label on mine was located on the right hand fairing over the valve cover.

That was where it was located on mine too.
The stickers on my 07 were a nightmare to get off as well - I guess that's what happens if they stay on for 5 years
Took the heat gun, plus Goof off, plus polish to remove the evidence they were there.

when I did the CHP inspection, they never asked for or even looked for the emissions sticker. They just looked around the engine as best they could, to make sure I didn't have nitrous or something.

Called Guzzi customer care they found a emission label and mailed it to me . DMV registration went smoothly without any issues they did look at the emission label though.
Thanks for the help.
