Has anyone come across the Service Manual for the 2013 V7's (Stone) yet? The bikes have been out, in Europe, for over a year now; why can't I find a copy anywhere?

Unless you are looking for something specific to the fuel system/ECU, the one in the downloads section above for the 09-12 models will work fine.

I have a copy of the '09-'12 manual. Along with knowledge for troubleshooting new ECU/FI system, I was curious if any torque specs are different. Right off the bat it was obvious the idle and valve clearance had changed, so I assume other details have too. I just want to make sure the TLC I give bike is the right TLC...without saying "well, it's close to 2012 specs, so it 'should' be fine".

Valve clearance should be on a sticker under the seat - maybe idle, too.

No one has reported any differences in anything other than the fueling/ECU. Several people have done the 600 mile check themselves using the values in the older "Service Station Manual" without issue, but I understand where you're coming from.

Not much to do for first service on the new ones. Valves at 6 & 8 thou. Oils and oil filter, don't touch the TB/ECU unless you have Navigator to re-set the TPS and factory parameters.

Note the TPS should NEVER be re-calibrated unless the map is being changed. The new map for the single TB models greatly improves cold start and cold idle running.

Beware that there are errors in the 2013 V7 Special/Stone service manual. One glaring example is on p. 106. The plug with pin numbers shown for the ECU is actually the one for the dashboard (probably). The ECU has 34 pins (28 of which are used), not 26 as shown on p. 106, and the pin designations on p. 106 have no relation to the presumably correct ones shown in the overall wiring diagram. The dashboard connector does have 26 pins (of which 21 are used), and I have no idea if the pin numbering is as shown for the connector on p. 106.

What about the valve adjustment and retorquing the cyl head? I believe at 600 miles?

Yes, Pete forgot to mention the heads, but he has confirmed before that they are specifically told it is still necessary on smallblocks.

I've got a thread on WG where I detail the first service on my Stone.
