Jay at Pirate Upholstery in Kingston NY made me a new seat. I asked him to make it taller and flatter to accommodate my lanky frame. He deleted the tool storage to move the pilot area back and smoothed out the line from tank to tail. I'll tell you how it rides when the floodwaters recede.

Nice job.

You're flooded in? Its currently pissin rain here in Brisbane (No! that'd be a 1st).
I too need lots of forum activity to break the boredom/cabin fever. Can we start a controversy of sorts? Stir the hornets nest so to speak.

Not real flooding, just a day-long downpour.

Steve, it was cheaper unless you consider that I had to sacrifice a stock seat. Stock seats are listed at $200 here in the U.S. but are basically unavailable unless something has changed in the MG parts and accessories warehouse.

Your leather solo seat will attract more babes but how will you get them home?

Hey ghezzi, I'm near Perth and yesterday was the first bit of rain in a while. Not too bad today. Great riding weather :D
Trouble is, my bike is on the other side of the planet in the UK

Well I got my boredom breaker, called out at 10am to pick up a bike from a local shop.

I got to load it on my ute at 2:30pm - unloaded at 3:30pm, then drive back home.
Customer wasn't happy as the shop called him yesterday to say it was finished & ready.

All for less than $100, but I did get a free lunch :silly:
