Hello, All! I just purchased a V7 Classic 4 days ago. I'm just curious if there are other members from Alberta in this forum. I'm from Calgary.

Hey, welcome!
I'm up in Edmonton, but sometimes venture down to Calgary for a ride.
Hope your enjoying the ride so far!

Hey welcome, I'm in airdrie. Congrats on the V7. I've seen and sat on yours many times at Blackfoot. Dave told me the other day that he sold his baby.. Lol...
It was your bike that helped me decide which way to go to buy my first Bike, I actually ordered the same solo seat, handle bars and mirrors as yours and I went for Mistral pipes too.

I bought a V7 Stone and dealt with Dave as well. Hopefully I see you around.. I won't be in AB much longer as I have to be getting back home to Ontario.

Nice! Dave's a pretty good guy. I like the stone but they didn't have one in stock. Did you have to order yours? If so, how long did it take?

Do you know if there's a Moto Guzzi club in Alberta? Just curious:)

I did have to order mine, I ordered it at the end of Feb and got it on the 10th of April. I have no idea if there is a MG club of Alberta. How is the ride? Do your position with the bars? Let me know if you want to meet up for a coffee or something.

Matt

If anyone wants to go for a ride on Sunday, I may be coming down there to stop off at Blackfoot to look for some new gloves

I should be around, although I'm a new rider and haven't rode with other bikes so I'm a little apprehensive about it. If this is an issue we can at a Tim's or something. I won't be offended..lol.

I'm definitely will be out riding tonight. Supposed to be nice out.

Hey. Just joined up. I purchased a '14 stone from Blackfoot. It's still in the box and I've ordered some mods, but other than the shocks and agostini pipes that were recommended, they've all been cosmetic. I am going to swap to a performance filter and send the ECU for re-mapping/flash while there is still snow on the ground.

On that note, and from what I've been reading (and best I can figure given that I'm new to all of this), the PC and auto-tune additional options don't work for newer model V7's. Has Anyone tried any performance mods or have any input? Blackfoot suggested a fat duct, but im gonna pass on that as re-flash seems to be the better option.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks John. Welcome aboard Christopher, and congrats on the V7. Hope you'll add your info to the Registry thread; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-registry-picture-thread-add-your-bike.9108/ -- happy to answer any questions direct email; Todd at GuzziTech.com (I'm sending you one now as well). In short, the '13+ V7's cannot accept any of the amazing PC-V/AT technology, but I've got the mapping down well; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/gt-rx-v7-miu-reflash/
Fat Duc is a band-aid at best, and the version I offer here on the site is superior, but for the cost (you'd need two), the re-flash is best bet.
