With the purchase of my 2010 G8V, I thought commuting / lanesplitting might be easier & safer with some auxiliary lights mounted on the forks.
It would seem the best [only?] place to put the aux. lights would be on the forks, about where the OEM reflectors are.
Question #1: best way to get the reflectors off.
Question #2: Are there some [CNC machined?] fork clamps out there that would fit my year-model bike? Looking nice is good, but I'm a form-follows-function kind of guy.
Once the mounting is resolved, I'll start asking for advice re: which lights to install. I'm already thinking LED, 1 driving light, 1 fog light. But if I can't mount them, there's no point in buying the lights in the first place.
Thanks!
