Griso vibration / helmet buffeting

After one year and 6000 miles of laser sharp handling on the Griso, yesterday and today I'm noticing a slight vibration / helmet buffeting issue. It's driving me crazy! :angry:

I'm in investigation mode, but thought I'd throw this out to the group while I mull over it at a family picnic I need to go to!

Rear tire is new from this spring. I didn't balance tire, but it's the second one I put on and not balancing the rear hasn't ever caused a vibration, tested up to 100 mph. I may balance the tire just for giggles to eliminate it as a culprit.

Front tire is from the previous rear tire change. It's in great shape. No irregular wear as far as I can tell. Wheel weights haven't flown off. I plan on checking bearings and re balancing tire.

I also plan on using a different helmet/jacket combo, but this is reaching.

Any advice?
 
Balance your tires.

Every time you change the tires you MUST have them
re-balanced.
 
Check the front wheel bearings. It's an easy investigation and they are vulnerable to failure, later or sooner.
 
Sometimes I wonder if I have ADHD.

I rode the Griso yesterday with an old jacket. Calm as ever. I checked bearings and tires. Nothing out of the ordinary. Next ride will be with the new jacket. Either that jacket is causing issues or we had two days of strange wind conditions.

Bottom line is I don't have a problem!
