hey all,

I have my stelvio my'2011. In january 2013 I decided to improve performance mounting the ZARD exhaust.
After 6 month of use, from january to july 2013, the exhaust look burnt. I had my guzzi mechanic to dismount it and claim to ZARD factory in Italy.
This is the look now... https://www.dropbox.com/s/bzk8ztlgj3nhx ... n=51433259

After 2 month of contact ZARD said they will pick up de exhaust to check the problem. Now I am waiting for more than 1 month with no answer and waiting for the exhaust to be picked up.

Anyone had a similar experience?
In italy some posted a similar experience, saying that the gas is not properly coming out of the exhaust due to catalizator. Sorry I don't have the clue.

Is the bike lurching and seemingly not delivering power consistently? If it is running anything other than smoothly, especially at lower RPM. I'd be checking the plug caps.

Expulsion of unburnt charge into the exhaust due to the spark jumping to earth through damaged plug caps results in the fuel burning in the Catalytic Converter. That sort of damage is typical of this sort of issue.

I do hope it isn't this because if you've been riding a Bike with this issue and have considered it *Normal* you must have a very high tolerance for weird bike behaviour.. How long has your dealer been a dealer?

Pete
