I was just passing and figured I'd drop in to deliver an update of my whereabouts .
Since I sold my '85 SP 11 earlier this year , I've regretted doing it . Just a spur of he moment mistake .
I've also bought a '03 V Rod anniversary. Theres something different eh !!
In the last few days I've been looking really closely at an '85 Lemans 1000 . Its done 80,000 Kms and was imporyted to NZ in 1998 with 50,000 at that time . Its a real straight , well maintained bike .
If I get to own it I'll post some pics , but yep , it's red and white , and has a wheel at each end with the engine sideways ( ie , correctly mounted ) .
Im missing the uniqueness of the Guzzi , the V rod is cool , but the Guzzi is coolest !

V-Rods are great bikes though, You can't complain about them at all really. I love em.

The value you get from the versatility from them seriously can't be beat... Get some saddlebags on it and you can basically replace a car with it.
 
I actually missed the red and white Lemans and have just secured a beautiful Black 1994 Lemans Uliitma Edizione with 54 000 Kilometers on the clock .
It was one of those on again - off again deals , one minute it was for sale , then it was'nt then it was again . Then I struck with a huge cheque and came home with the bike .
I am a happy camper now . Its Number 54 /100.
All absolutely original . I've posted some pics for you do drool over , they're in another post.
