Tim with a Griso
Tuned and Synch'ed
Hi,
just put the Griso to bed this afternoon after a last cold ride of the year and I noticed - well heard - an intermittent whirring and clicking (a bit like a starter motor) coming from the fuel injector housing even though the keys were out of the ignition.
I presumed that is was coming from a primer pump even though the workshop manual did not go in to that much detail.
I started the bike up a couple of times to see if a 'reboot' would fix the problem, even applied patience to see if it would eventually stop. But after half an hour I got bored and disconnected the battery.
I presume it is a faulty sensor or a wiring problem that is the cause, but before I go to my local Guzzi dealer and hand over the kids Christmas present money I thought I'd see if anyone else has had the same problem and perhaps has a solution.
Thanks
Tim
