I'm going to be ordering in some of the 'No longer available in the U.S.' OEM fly screens as shown below. Should be ~$175 + shipping. If anyone here would like to secure one, mail me direct; Todd at GuzziTech.com

Why would they no longer be available stateside ?
Great question, with no answer. Just listed as NLA in the system.

I've had a tinted one on my 2012 Griso 8vSE since the day I picked the bike up in Dahlonega, GA, so I can't give a before and after report. It is small enough so that it doesn't dominate the appearance of the Griso front end, and it does a nice job of keeping the bugs off the instrument cluster. It probably creates a small clean air zone, too, but that's only speculation on my part.

I'm looking for a fly screen to fit my Cali 1400 Custom. Any idea where I can score one of these, Todd?
Dave, I'm looking now that I own a Cal14C. B)

I'll keep you posted on what I stumble on, and you please do the same.

It's this safety conscious, plastic, p.c world that a lot of us find ourselves in. Trouble is, the powers that be don't give a shite about your health and well being, all they are concerned about is not being sued. Rant over

Yep, they are apparently not DOT approved. I had to order mine from Italy. It hasn't flown off and hit me in the face. Yet.

Bureaucrats!

Well it seems every bureaucrat over here is trying to "make their mark" whether it makes sense or not. This is tightly coupled with politicians who are trying to get re-elected at the next election. I doubt very much if the same beasts over there are any different.

It has diddly-squat to do with safety or compliance or beauty or function - they do it because they can - self congratulatory pat on one's back afterwards - we showed 'em.

Rant Done - back to bikes...

Any idea as to when you will be able to get the fly screens in stock?
Thanks
Hard to say right now as Guzzi has apparently changed suppliers, which means the old part # is defunct. I am hearing end of April to ship. I have a running/pending list for anyone interested, please contact me direct e-mail please; Todd at GuzziTech.com

I've had one of these screens on my Griso for the last 7 years. Great for keeping bugs off your speedo, extra thick screen and it's still on there with never a loose screw, until this year. But it was only the rubber well nuts perishing after 7 years. 4 new well nuts which cost pennies and hopefully another 7 years of bug killing in style.
And the last thing to go through them bugs minds as they hit Italian style?............
Was their arse‼️

Flyscreens are (back)ordered, yes. Link didn't take me to anything to see, just an accessory drop down. Can you link me direct to a pic or tell me what it is here?

I'm still awaiting word on shipping from the Motherland, but word has it they would be shipping in June. Fingers crossed. I'll post the minute I have new info. dskustoms, direct email following this post.
