My 2007 Breva 1100 is running poorly. Plugs black, hard to start, chugs bad at low rpm but catches and runs somewhat better at high rpm. Gas milage off at least 20%. Service light comes and goes.

The ECU fault code reads 31 but this is not on the list I have seen. Is it a secret code? Do I have non-standard software in my ECU? It sure would help to know what this code means.

PS- I downloaded Guzzi Diag and bought the right connectors. Works great but I don't know hat normal ranges are for all the sensors.

If you go into the 'faults' screen in Guzzidiag it shold give you a description of the fault.

Attached is a list of the codes with some explanations/additions by me and others.
You may find this useful.
Cheers
Brian :)

Hi there the link the error coded above doesn't seem to work anymore.

I had a strange instance with my Breva 1100 this evening. I stopped on the way home and when I went to start the bike there was nothing. The system wouldn't boot up. I removed and checked the main 30 amp fuses and the bike would swing the needles and that was it and display an error message which I cant remember. After about 5 minutes the bike booted up. Strange!

Anyway I was after the error codes to see if I could recognise the code.

I have tried to upload the file as I am the originator of the Error Codes file, but, the site blocks me or disables me. Grrr!

Cheers (I think)

Brian, sorry, send it to me direct e-mail; Todd at GuzziTech.com
The site is under lock down from most file uploads as that is the means for most hacks these days.
My link above revised, but I'll post it again here; https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/topic?f=196&t=7966

G'day Todd,
That address you gave takes me to the error codes so maybe the link is not down but in error.

Cheers

Brian :D
