  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. I have been looking for a new wall clock for the shop, and stumbled on the Guzzi accessories metal bacon-slicer flywheel replica work-of-art pictured below (which BTW, isn't available in the states!?). Opened it up, popped a battery in it, and it worked for 30 seconds and quit. No "movement" in the Taiwanese motor. I swapped the "movement" from the clock it was replacing (that was 7+ years old), then for frustrations sake, put the same battery in the one I removed. It, of course, worked. So I guess I now have a spare motor.

So see, it's not just the bikes that need tinkering on.

If anyone is interested in one, I can get them for ~$99 + shipping. They are ~14" in diameter and made of stamped aluminum.

Last week I was tempted by a great looking wall clock based on the design of an old Veglia speedo.....but I decided I couldn't risk being late that often

Todd, i was given the exact same clock three years ago for my birthday and the bloody thing keeps perfect time all the time :p
