Been lurking here for a few months, sucking up info, and I just put a deposit on a 2014 V7 Special. The bad news is I'm in Canada and the snowbanks in my driveway are higher than my head with another 15-20 cm forecast for tonight and tomorrow. So it'll be a few weeks before I actually take possession. Now to decide which of the other members of the herd to thin out to make room for this new one. The garage is overflowing. I know, first-world problem.

Hey, welcome and good choice. I see that your in Waterloo, maybe at some point this riding season we'll run into each other. I'm in Brantford. And yes this winter is BS. I did my m2 safety course on the 23rd of last March and there was no snow on the ground. I think we wont be riding in these parts until mid april at the earliest. FML

Welcome! Despite the bitching you're probably reading about in other posts, don't let that deter you. These are very minor issues and we're all very happy with our V7's. These are great bikes and you made a good choice.

Thanks! I also own 2 BMWs. My hide is so thick, online forum bitching has very little effect on me

Welcome - I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
My wife has a '13 V7 Stone and loves it. I have an '07 Griso.
If you haven't already, check out ontarioguzziriders.com. There is an annual rally up in Lavigne (not to be missed, since it's held in a tavern!) and occasional breakfasts (one last year was just down the road from you in Elora).
I think Corsa Meccanica is also planning to start organizing a few events as well this year.
Now if the snow would just stop...

Well, it hasn't stopped yet, here. I just spent an hour shoveling the driveway and by the time I got to the end, I could've started all over again B)

I knew about the Lavigne rally, but I'll be somewhere in the middle of the Yukon on a canoe trip around then. Thanks for the info. My biggest problem with these breakfast things is that I'm one of those people that has to eat as soon as I get up; otherwise I'd be a traffic hazard. So they turn into lunch.
