Just put a set of these 8983's on, and did 2nd test run, set sag at 1" , 8 clicks out from full soft and added 2 clicks of rebound.

And added 3 quarter turns of ride height adjustment to each side.

Bike feels level with a very nice turn in, with no front end pushing.

Firm ride but compliant ….

Old JRI'S weren't even close to these shocks. High quality through out the shock. Precision adjustments, one click can be felt. I had a lot of premium shocks. This is by far the nicest.

Todd from GuzziTech helped from the git go….trust me I am not a easy customer, and he got me necessary info when I needed it and did the extra phone call when i requested it. Professional Kat.

More later

Thanks Todd

Thanks Joe. You are right about not being an easy customer ( :silly: ), but happy to oblige, and thanks for the post. I look forward to further updates.

Folks, these are the 8983 fully-adjustable, über high-end shocks for those wanting the best; Retail is $2395 for the pair: http://guzzitech.com/store/product/42-p ... pathway-16 (use the Options drop down)

Joe helped me with the initial build, and Penske will build only to my spec, so thanks for ordering with me direct.

Just did a day of two up riding, with minor adjustments on the new Penskes , they gave excellent compliant ride and no body roll in the turns. The feel i was looking for when riding 2 UP. If they work this good on the Custom I gotta feel the Touring Ca. would benefit greatly.
Its nice to enter the turns at some speeds and not worry about the bike .

These shocks are a quality set up, Iam getting so much more fun out this bike then ever expected.
