Has anyone had to replace spokes? My poor girl has had to live all her life outdoors and I ride all year long, without recourse to a hose, as she is parked in a public car park 100 yards away from home (street-front terrace).

The spokes are horrible - all flaky chrome and rust. I'm wondering if it's possible and/or worth doing to change them for stainless items? I'm aware of the sealing issue and really don't want to have to go to tubes...

What about replacing the spoked wheels with a pair of alloys from a later model?

The spokes are kind of proprietary. The rear might be available via Alpina for one of their SuperMoto wheels. Last I researched this, you definitely couldn't get the front spokes in stainless from them, as they make them only for Guzzi direct. If you're lucky/ambitious, you might be able to get some made. I've tried with no luck as it's metric thread/sizing. If you do, ping me direct.

Thanks for the advice, people. I'm kind of financially embarrassed right now, but i'd consider cast wheels in the future. My Stelvio is a keeper for life. This is why...

I had a rear spoke break at the nipple. It didn't even leak air, with the nipple loose.

I bought a replacement and a couple of spares they were so cheap.

Silly me - I assumed they were SS like my Quota and old Eldorado.
